Find a local plumber anywhere in the Portland metro
Give us the job and your address. We hand the request to one independent, licensed plumber who works your corner of the metro, and they call you back.

What we do
Portland Metro Plumber is a matching service, not a plumbing company. You describe the problem, we pass it to a single licensed plumber who covers your area, and that plumber takes over. There's no fee on your end, and no list of companies chasing you for the same job.
- No charge to request. The plumber bills you directly, and only after you approve the scope of work.
- Genuinely local. The pros in our group live and work in the Portland metro, not a national call center.
- One match, one callback. Your request goes to one pro, so you aren't answering five calls for one leak.
Housing here, and why it matters
Portland's housing runs the full range, and each era brings its own problems. Inner neighborhoods like Sellwood, Laurelhurst, and Alameda are thick with 1920s bungalows and four-squares that still have original galvanized supply lines and clay or cast-iron sewer laterals. The mid-century ranches out toward Gresham and Milwaukie share a lot of that same aging pipe. In the newer subdivisions around Hillsboro, Beaverton, and Happy Valley, the calls skew to builder-grade water heaters reaching end of life and to slab leaks in slab-on-grade construction.
Portland's water is one place the metro differs from most of the country: Bull Run water is soft and low in minerals, so scale buildup is less of a problem here than in hard-water regions. What we see more of instead is tree-root intrusion. The Douglas firs, big-leaf maples, and willows that make the metro green also send roots into old clay laterals, and the wet season keeps those lines working hard.
Services in the network
The plumbers we work with take the jobs Portland-area homes actually need: water heaters, repipes, slab leaks, gas lines, sewer work, and camera inspections. Pick a service from the list, or skip ahead and just describe what's going on.
